1930s Hong Kong, singer Fleur (Anita MUI) falls for the dashing young playboy CHAN Chen-Pang (Leslie CHEUNG). They vow to elope in death, defying the world that keeps them apart. But fate is cruel—she waits alone in the underworld. Half a century later, her spirit returns, wandering the neon-lit Hong Kong streets in search of a love long lost. He is still here, but the heart she once knew is not.
