Poetically utilizing imagery and audiovisual rhythm, YUJA takes us on an unforgettable emotional and spiritual journey of a world-class musician’s evolution.
With unprecedented access, intimate camera work, and visually arresting editing style, the film captures Yuja Wang’s vulnerability and struggle as an individual and returns the musician to a living, breathing human being.
The multi-layered combination of a dazzling stage presence, a uniquely charismatic performance style, bold outfits, and the invisible competition, pressure, and scrutiny within the classical music industry presents the audience with a truly authentic portrait of Yuja.
