Yunmei (WANG Yu-Xuan) is pursuing an acting career in Japan and has finally landed a leading role, only to find herself stumbling over her Japanese lines. Her estranged older sister Huiling (WANG Yu-Ping) is transferred there for work without speaking a word of Japanese, falling back on English whenever words fail her. Her brother-in-law (ASAI Daichi), who knows only a little Japanese, seems the most at ease, wandering around with an easy curiosity. The same Japan becomes three different versions of being elsewhere. Amid a string of everyday mishaps, can they find their way back toward one another?
